Join our dynamic laboratory team as a Histotechnologist 2, where you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and analysis of tissues. Primary duties include:
•Tissue processing, embedding, sectioning.
•Execute H&E staining according to established protocols.
•Maintain workflow, adhere to turnaround time (TAT) deadlines, and manage quality control and other necessary logs.
•Collaborate with faculty, residents, and grossing personnel to address and resolve issues related to worklists and other orders.
•Adheres to all Hospital and university policies procedures, and safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Salary Range: $55.70/hour - $72.05/hour
Qualifications
•HT or HTL (ASCP) certification.
•Minimum of 5 years of histology experience.
•Flexibility to work overtime and holidays as needed.
•High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. HiSET or GED).
