Our pathologist-owned group of seven pathologists serves two large local tertiary hospitals and several smaller affiliated hospital-based laboratories within the state. We employ four pathology assistants.
We are seeking a candidate who desires to see interesting cases daily, and who enjoys interacting with a collegial group of people. The size of our group allows us to promote a healthy family-friendly work-life balance and work environment.
AP/CP board certified (or eligible) pathologists, eligible for licensure in Oklahoma would be considered for this full-time shareholder-track position. We are able to accommodate both experienced and recently trained pathologists. Applicants with extra training in cytopathology or subspecialty surgical pathology fields would find our practice a good fit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General AP/CP surgical and cytopathology sign out (no hematopathology required)
Frozen section and AP/CP call coverage (shared equally among all pathologists)
Hospital medical staff leadership opportunities
Clinical laboratory oversight at times
No autopsy coverage required
