The Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites applications for a full-time faculty position from academic Hematopathologists with a research interest in hematopoietic or lymphoid disorders for the Diagnostic Laboratory Section of Hematopathology. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

The Department hosts an ACGME accredited Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency program and several ACGME accredited fellowships including a fellowship in Hematopathology.
In addition to providing medical education, diagnostic services for neoplastic hematopathology, clinical laboratory hematology and flow cytometry to support strong clinical programs in hematologic disorders, the successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain a program in translational research at UIC.
Significant diagnostic experience with hematolymphoid malignancies and clinical laboratory hematology is required for this position. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of scholarly achievement.
Candidates for this position must have an MD or DO degree, qualify for a license to practice medicine in Illinois, and possess board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology and subspecialty certification in Hematopathology
