Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist Opportunity

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an Anatomic & Clinical Pathologist for our Irving location, to assist with a growing demand for services in the area. Fellowship training in Cytopathology, Hematopathology, Breast or Gynecologic Pathology is preferred.
Responsibilities will include practicing general anatomic pathology, including frozen sections and cytopathology adequacies. Clinical pathology duties will include review of peripheral smears and support for the blood bank when on call.
- Board Certified Pathologist with subspecialty training, experience preferred.
- Join an existing team of 6 pathologists in this region.
- The expected work schedule is Monday- Friday with evening and weekend call rotated approx. 1:6
- Primary responsibilities in a 296-bed community hospital with an established and growing medical staff.
The Baylor Scott and White Pathology practice has pathologists in North and Central Texas locations with more than 40 Pathologists and PhDs who oversee operations at 17 Hospitals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate degree in medicine, MD or DO
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas by start date
Fellowship trained in subspecialty preferred: Cytopathology, Hematopathology, Breast or Gynecologic Pathology. Board Certified or Board Eligible
