Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Medical Laboratory Scientist I for our Atlantic Consolidated Lab in Morris Plains for the Microbiology department to work 7am - 3pm including varied weekends.Responsibilities Work in high volume microbiology laboratoryPerforms laboratory procedures to obtain results for physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using established protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgement and responsibility with minimal technical supervisionWorks independently and communicates effectively with other healthcare professionalsQualifications Minimum Education:BS degree is Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology required
