Pathology coverage for VHACOS encompasses general surgical and clinical pathology, including simple up to complex surgical specimens from outpatient clinics. These primarily include but are not limited to dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology, genitourinary pathology, and head and neck pathology. As there is an active surgical suite, performance and evaluation of frozen sections is an important aspect of this position. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
