The Clinical Laboratory Specialist performs a full range of technical activities in support of and under the general supervision of a Histology/Cytology Technician, Technologist or Laboratory Supervisor. Responsible for preparing laboratory specimens for testing and analysis including accessioning of surgical and cytology specimens, preparation and distribution of pathological slides for diagnostic procedures, maintenance of pathology laboratory equipment.
