Annual Base Salary: $245,000* (board eligible) and $249,000* (board certified) based on 35-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $363,120** (board eligible) and $367,520** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

Metropolitan Hospital accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. Attending Conferences/Tumor Board
Sign out of autopsies
Provide on call coverage for frozen sections
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Board certified by American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP
Must qualify for New York State Medical License at the time of proposed employment
Must possess a valid updated certificate of qualification from the New York State Department of Health for the laboratory sections or eligible to receive this certificate
