Lab Assistant - Pathology Lab
Penn State Health Lancaster Medical CenterLocation: US:PA:Lancaster Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.00 Shift: Evening Hours: variedSUMMARY OF POSITION: The laboratory assistant is responsible for performing phlebotomies on patients of all age groups, performing patient registrations and ordering laboratory tests in the EMR, processing of laboratory specimens, the collection of specialized tests, and performing breath alcohol testing. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):High school graduate or equivalent required PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):Completion of a phlebotomy, certified nursing assistant, or medical assistant training course.
