University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hematology/Oncology team at the M Health Cancer Clinics in Woodbury and Maplewood.

The Advanced Practice Provider will work in collaboration with physicians, nurses and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive healthcare and plan of care to adult hematology and oncology patients in the outpatient community clinic setting.

In This Role, You Will:

• Engage in comprehensive diagnosis and management of complex heme-onc patients in all spectrums of care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, and supportive care.
• Complete comprehensive histories and physicals of hematology-oncology patients.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, consultants, and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Initiate orders and implements diagnostic and treatment plans, including intravenous fluids, medications, and transfusions.
• Perform procedures including bone marrow biopsy and aspiration, lumbar puncture and ommaya reservoir access, and administration of intrathecal chemotherapy.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE
• Monday-Friday, varying hours from 7am-5:30pm
• No call coverage

We're Looking For a PA or NP Who Is:

• A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
• Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
• Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's).
• Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
