The Northwell Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks a Pediatric Pathologist to join 2 other pediatric pathologists in the Pediatric Pathology Division based at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York NY (CCMCNY). CCMCNY is a 202 bed hospital with 8 dedicated pediatric OR's. The service covers the spectrum of pediatric surgical pathology as well as perinatal / placental pathology.
Eligible candidates must be AP board-certified in Anatomic Pathology; preferably in Pediatric Pathology. The ideal candidate should have competent diagnostic skills and a sincere interest in teaching residents and medical students; preferably will also have more than 1 year of post-fellowship experience and a desire to pursue academic accomplishments. Strong candidates without prior experience will be considered as well.
