Overview Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II for our Atlantic Consolidated Lab in Morris Plains in the Microbiology Department to work 11pm - 7am five days per week including every other weekend.Responsibilities Work in high volume microbiology laboratoryPerforms laboratory procedures to obtain results for physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using established protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgement and responsibility with minimal technical supervisionWorks independently and communicates effectively with other healthcare professionalsQualifications Minimum Education Required:High school diploma/ GED equivalent required
