DescriptionSUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: To conduct independent and directed scientific studies and research in support of a Principal Investigator's researchREPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIESPerform experiments and record data Follow research protocol. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory work and experiments. Analyze data; perform statistical and graphical analysis of data. Design and execute daily laboratory experiments in coordination with senior laboratory personnel. Reproduces and evaluates techniques and results for accuracy. Apply standard protocols to specific experiments, research and improve current methods, and evaluate innovative techniques. Assists in training students and new/junior laboratory personnel in labor
