Equipoise Healthcare is seeking a board—eligible or board—certified pediatric hematology and oncology physician.  This position includes inpatient and outpatient care of children with cancer and blood disorders.  You will manage a broad array of hematologic and oncologic disorders in children, including sickle cell disease, iron deficiency, bleeding and clotting disorders, ITP, histiocytoses, solid tumors, CNS tumors, leukemia, and more.  We especially welcome candidates with an interest in general pediatric hematology and oncology, as well as survivorship, thrombosis and hemostasis, or solid tumors.  There are opportunities to be involved in program development to the extent that you are interested and capable.  We offer above average salary, excellent benefits, and all of this in a beautiful city with a vibrant cultural scene and an excellent, low cost of living in the Midwest and virtually no traffic jams.

A candidate must be board—certified or board—eligible in pediatric hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplant, having completed the requisite training in a satisfactory manner.  The ideal candidate will also be kind, integrous, smart, a strong advocate for patients, and a good clinician with a sharp ability to assess the medical literature.  Speaking Spanish or Vietnamese is also helpful.
