Wellington SCL is part of Southern Community Laboratories, a division of APHG that has provided doctors and patients in New Zealand with pathology services since 1960. Asia Pacific Healthcare Group (APHG) is the largest provider of Pathology services in New Zealand, with laboratories throughout the country. This position is based at our modern laboratory in Wellington Regional Hospital, servicing a population of 500,000 (public hospital and community referrals). The Anatomical Pathology department processes over 39,000 surgical and 6,000 Cytology cases each year, and has an active Registrar/Resident Teaching Programme.
