Post Doctoral Fellow - Pathology
We are seeking a post-doc candidate to conduct research in human and mouse Immunology while receiving advanced training from the Principal Investigator to enhance professional skills and research independence needed for pursuit of a career. The specific area of research would include HIV-1 infection and CD4 T cell homeostasis, the role of the gut microbiota in shaping HIV-1 reservoir and CD4 T cell maintenance. Mice systems will be used to address specific questions related to the role of gut-derived solutes on CD4 T cell behavior and differentiation. Designs and evaluates experiments. Develops new ideas that promote current research. Prepares and publishes scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator. May be responsible for operation of spe
