The Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology is actively recruiting for a Pediatric Hematology/Oncologist to join our division of 10 pediatric oncologists and 10 pediatric oncology nurse practitioners at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Coverage will be at both Banner Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ) and Banner Desert (Mesa, AZ) and will include both inpatient and outpatient care. Participation in clinical and educational efforts including teaching of medical students and residents is included, as well as opportunities for research. This is a full-time position, with excess call pay available for shifts worked beyond the required unrestricted 7 shifts/month.
Board certification/eligibility by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and eligibility for licensure in the State of Arizona is required. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at The University of Arizona.

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Strong clinical skills
Ability to work within a diverse environment including students, residents, nurse practitioners and with other faculty
Should have an interest in teaching multi-disciplinary trainees, as well as interest in quality improvement work and other academic endeavors tailored to the candidate's current career path
