Contra Costa County Health Services currently has a temporary, full-time opportunity for a Senior Cytotechnologist. Under general direction, the successful candidate will perform general and specialized procedures relating to the preliminary evaluation of cytologic materials obtained from individuals; document quality assurance and qualify control; write protocol for new procedures; ensure adherence to applicable State and Federal regulations; and perform other related work as required. This single position class performs the most complex cytopathologic tests while providing guidance to Cytotechnologists as needed.
