Permanent Change Station(PCS) expenses are not authorized. The Nurse Practitioner position supports the Hematology/Oncology section. Duties include but are not limited to: Provides comprehensive outpatient primary, preventative and wellness care as well as a spectrum of acute, episodic and end-of-life care to Veterans Guides, develops, and supports staff from a leadership perspective, uses professional standards of care, scientific evidence and practice to evaluate programs and/or service activities Provides comprehensive outpatient primary care, preventative, and wellness care as well as a spectrum of acute, episodic, and end-of-life care to Veterans Performs physicals, orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic test/studies, initiates consults and referrals, prescribes medication and supplies Develops patient driven holistic care plan for life Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
